I want to know about a replacement for EPDM 960 . Who has similar mechanical properties as EPDM 960 after vulcanization and curing but the ENB content must be less than 5%.
The mechanical properties which are required after the vulcanization and curing are listed below- 1. Tensile Strength- 160 kg/cm2 Min. 2. Hardness - 80 ± 5 (Shore-A) 3. Thank you for your e-mail of April 23. KEP960N is oil-extended grade which contains paraffin oil 50phr. and, It is high molecular rubber for high physical property. So, I recommend to you KEP980N which is also oil-extended grade, but, It contains paraffin oil 75phr. KEP980N contains 4.5wt% ENB and It has special phyisical property. But, you should change total oil and polymer"s input on your recipe because of different oil content in rubber.(KEP960N=50phr, KEP980N=75phr) And, you"ll be sure only after the test on your recipe about mechanical properties.
